Just moments ago the hacker posted on his blog site the release of a new redsn0w 0.9.10b1 version both for Mac and Windows users that will jailbreak in untethered mode iPhone 4 (CDMA and GSM), iPhone 3GS, iPad (1st generation) and iPod touch (3rd and 4th generation).

NOTE: If you already have iOS 5.0.1 jailbroken in tethered mode, simply run redsn0w 0.9.10 over the current jailbreak (DESELECTING ‘Install Cydia’) to have an untethered jailbreak.

How to jailbreak your iDevice

- Update your device to iOS 5.0.1 via iTunes if your is not already running Apple’s latest firmware.

- Download, install and launch redsn0w 0.9.10b1 from the links above

- Plug in the device, hold down the power button and ‘Slide to Power Off’.

- Click the Jailbreak button and click the Next button to put the device in DFU mode.redsn0w-0.9.10-01
